CORDILLERA AUTONOMOUS REGION (CAR)

In lesson 2 Isnegs encompass practically every aspect of human experience: men, women, children, the human body, ailments and defects, actions, food and drink, dress and temperaments, animals, plants, the natural environment an natural phenomena. This tribe is very fond of tobacco. Isneg were described as of slender and graceful structure, with manners that were kind, hospitable and generous, possessed with the spirit of self-reliance and courage and clearly artistic in their temperament. In lesson 3, which is Tingguian, it is about the radiance of the ocean light reflecting silver and gold upon the greenish hair of the nine guard’s s they play around the palace gate, chasing on another in gay laughter, and attracted the mountain lord. In lesson 4, which is Hudhud, it is about the friendship, because it is the fight between the father and son of both parties. Their son fights for them. They cant easily finished the fight because of their braveness, and after that they were become friends, after the result of the fight. In lesson 5, this is Oggood. It is the most important of the myths which are the narrative concening lumawig, the bontoc’s god and culture hero. I think lumawig is a choosy guy. He have a standard for girls before he mary it. In lesson 6, which is Sudsud are men wear the traditional G-string, Ornamentation by tattooing of the arm is popular among both sexes. In lesson 7, this is Ullalim. Kalinga literature consists of riddles, legends, chanted or sung myths, epics or ballads that narrate the heroic exploits of culture heroes, which also emphasize the bravery and pride of the kalinga people. Kalinga province is rugged and mountainous. I think CAR is all about the heroes in different places, on how they live, belief and their different activities in the past. And the characteristics of different ethnic group.
